Job Description:
The primary role of this position is to design and lead the weekend worship service. (keeping in mind new worshipers and people without a church culture). This person should have a good lead voice, an ability to rehearse a band (style: rock & R&B). This person must enjoy recruiting and developing volunteers (although at times we do use paid players). It would be helpful if this person could chart music, play an instrument and had an ability to adapt to good technology (computers, sound boards, websites, etc.). The pay range would depend upon hours and abilities. The position is part-time and permanent. We are a young (17 yrs) evangelical, inter-denominational church whose membership mirrors the local demographics. Our theology and philosophy are similar to Saddleback Community Church, Northpoint Community Church and Willow Creek Community Church.
