Education and Experience:
=============================================
-Professional experience as worship leader in a church setting
-Track record of recruiting and building unpaid music/vocal teams
-Experience teaming with pastor and others to accomplish creative weekly worship design


Position Requirements & Skills:
=============================================
-Strong worship leader that flows from a genuine relationship with Jesus
-Great singer/musician with the ability to lead from piano / keys
-Ability to lead and develop teams and cultivate new talent
-Have an understanding of Urban ministry/ mission/ culture
-Possess the ability to hear vocal parts and to teach these to the music servants
-Ability to instruct in the area of sound and to assist in developing this area and working within the budget parameters
-Ability and willingness to grasp the vision of Ginghamsburg and to learn the distinct DNA and flow of the ministry


Major Responsibilities:

-Meet each week with Ginghamsburg’s Fort McKinley worship design team and pastor to strategize and plan weekend worship celebrations
-Recruit, rehearse and lead musicians and singers/choir one evening each week plus every Sunday morning for two worship celebrations (soon to become three)
-Coordinate with and work under the leadership of the Ginghamsburg director of music ministries to develop appropriate music/worship style for the Fort McKinley Campus
