Pinelake Church is a fast-growing, multi campus, dynamic fellowship of over 7000 attendees located in the Jackson, MS area. Our mission is to help people find and fulfill their God-given purpose for living. We are currently seeking a Director of Video Technology. This position is responsible for the creation, development and support of all Pinelake video ministry initiatives including video communications, broadcasts, and special projects.
Partial list of responsibilities:
• Be creative in developing new opportunities of ministry through video communications.
• Plan, implement and oversee all aspects of Pinelake’s video production to accommodate growth opportunities including new facilities, video venue broadcasts, and the implementation of other in-house initiatives as they relate to video communication needs.
• Coordinate vendor support for both equipment and software as it related to Pinelake’s video ministry.
• Provide input and recommendations for additional equipment needs and purchases; maintain equipment in top working condition.
• Develop and maintain an operations manual and documentation for all video communication programs.
• Develop and maintain a complete system user manual for video production and broadcast operations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable governmental laws and regulations regarding copyrighted materials.
• Provide editorial input for church video communications.
• Develop, coordinate and produce attractive video support for each area of ministry within the church as needed.
• Create in-house and special event videos including shooting and editing functions.
• Oversee video production for Sunday and Wednesday services.
• Create the informational video / slide presentation used before services.
• Enlist, coordinate and train volunteers in all phases of broadcast production.
• Provide continued training opportunities to assist volunteers in performing their services.
• Maintain a master library of all video tapings.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the video ministry budget.
• Other duties as assigned.
